Ross is an energy professional and chartered mechanical engineer of 20 years’ experience across the built environment, industry and infrastructure. Since 2021 I have been an Associate Director in the Net Zero Buildings team at the Scottish Futures Trust - a body established by the Scottish Government to be a centre of infrastructure expertise, working with both public and private sector partners. For part of that time I was seconded to the Scottish Government Heat and Buildings programme Team and have the knowledge and experience of government policy development in the area of Net Zero for housing that is important for the Association’s future strategy.
