Confirm your housing costs to-do for Universal Credit

In April 2025, tenants who claim Universal Credit will be sent a ‘Confirm your housing costs’ to-do. You must complete this or you risk receiving the wrong amount and will start accuring rent arrears. This needs to be completed as early as possible.

You will find your new rent and service charge costs for 1st April 2025 on the recent rent increase letter that was sent in February. If you need any assistance, please contact your Housing Officer.

Tenants who pay their housing costs monthly will be asked ‘Did your housing costs change on 1 April 2025?’ via the online journal. Click Continue.

You will then need to confirm your new rent amount, followed by your new service charge amount.
