Impact Arts’ creative consultation method comprises the following principles:
- Listen
- Create Together
- Be Neutral
- Facilitate Discussion
- Encourage
We will provide two artists to deliver 10 community consultation workshops in partnership with Shettleston Housing Association. We aim to inspire, challenge and most of all engage local people in the process, ensuring that they feel that their voices are heard and their ideas considered in the regeneration of St Mark’s Mural and the surrounding area. We will encourage people to think about the possibilities that exist for the space and will use a variety of artistic techniques –modelling, collage, photography, to capture the ideas of the local community.
Throughout the sessions we aim to spark new ideas while identifying key themes, priorities and ideas for artworks, landscaping and communal space at the site of St Mark’s Mural.
We are keen to share storytelling and explore what the area means to the community and what they envisage for the space. We seek to celebrate all that is good about the area and turn this space into a place of joy and collaboration.
